Miller House & Garden

A National Historic Landmark, the Miller House & Garden is one of the finest examples of mid-century modernist architecture.  It was designed by Gateway Arch architect Eero Saarinen and showcases the work of noted landscape architect Dan Kiley and interior designer Alexander Gerard.  The residence  was the home of noted industrialist and philanthropist J. Irwin Miller, his wife Xenia Simons Miller, and their five children. The family owned the home until 2008, when they donated it to the Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA). Tours of the residence are now being offered by the IMA through the Columbus Indiana Area Visitor's Center. Visit the Miller House website or contact the hotel guest service staff for information about booking tours.

The Hampton Inn Columbus/Edinburgh is located approximately 10-15 minutes from the Miller House & Garden and the Columbus Area Visitor's Center. Maps and directions are available at the hotel front desk.
